Sony A7 III Is the issue an issue?

My first post...

I'm in the process of selling one of my 2 a7iii bodies and someone interested wrote with a link to an article about a7iii shutter failures and apparently some lawsuit. I never heard about this. I have 2 a7iii bodies, one with 117k shutter actuations and the other with 50k or so. Should I be concerned? If so, why?

My previous M3 with 60k actuations (3y) was having sporadic shutter hiccups. The buyer didnt care because he was going to put it exclusively to video use. I only was not too worried because I had 5y extension warranty otherwise I would be out of warranty and worried.

The a7III shutter does fail but you'd have to be pretty unlucky. Here's the results of a poll in our a7III Shooters Group on Facebook.
