Beautiful

With only 30-40cm or 1 1/2 foot hight, the Dik-Dik is not easy to spot in the high grass.

It is exciting to find a pride of lions on a safari trip and only can be topped with a bundle of cubs.

I have not seen a more confident antelope species, like the klipspringer. They never looked scared and sat on those rocks like lions.

I would love to think that one day I will be able to make it there.
But I have many thing going against me to why not over why I could.
But this said it is shot such as yours which show the truth characters of each animal which make it easier if I never make it.

Aussie
i would like to photograph birds in your country but I probably will end up to admire them on this forum.

Nice selection of images Roland ...really do give a flavour for African wildlife.... 🏆

Some great images there from my favourite Continent

Life after retirement. Old rivals are now your BFFs. Three cap buffalos that form a little community after they lost there herds to a younger male.

This Walking Hornbill was a character. We watched him for about 5 minutes carrying the dead grasshopper. Once in a while, he put his dinner down, caught some smaller bugs, ate them, then picked up the grasshopper and walked a few feet to start this procedure all over again.

After weeks of house chores, I finally had time to do another edit.
Three juvenile male lions, too old to be tolerated in the pride but way too young to start there own.
