First of all congratulations to last months competition winners and thanks to everyone who took part.

1st place with 4 votes was @Sdawes
2nd place with 3 votes was @garuda
3rd place with 2 votes was @Ivanturas

Since @Sdawes was last months competition winner he also received the job of choosing this months theme, he has decided to go with reflections.

You'll find some tips on photographing reflections
here, along with lots of images for inspiration over on Flickr.

Competition Dates
Entries start: The date that this post is published.
Entries end: July 15th at 3am Eastern Time (9am GMT)

Voting starts: July 15th at 3am Eastern Time (9am GMT)
Voting ends: July 28th at 3am Eastern Time (9am GMT)

What Do I Get if I Win?
1st Place - The first place winner will receive a $50 (US Dollar) voucher for B&H Photo OR Amazon (you can choose depending on your country and preference).
2nd Place - The second place winner will receive a $25 (US dollar) voucher for B&H Photo OR Amazon.
3rd Place - The third place winner will receive a $20 (US dollar) voucher for B&H Photo OR Amazon.

There are no alternative prize options or cash options, so if you are unable to accept a B&H or Amazon voucher I'm afraid you will miss out on the prize.

If your local currency is something other than US dollars then the above amounts will be converted based on the exchange rate at the time.

In the event of a draw the entry date will be extended but not past the last day of the month. If there are still equal votes for 1st, 2nd or 3rd place then the entry prizes will be split. I can't think of a better way of doing this for the time-being! If this happens I may also only be able to offer Amazon vouchers since $20 is the minimum for B&H.

The first place winner will also have the job of choosing the topic for the next competition. Don't worry, a list will be provided!

How to Enter + Rules

If you ask me, after that pic I feel like the competition is actually for 2nd place downwards. Congrats! So, here goes nothing... do tonemapped pictures qualify? No mention of it in the rules, although if I recall correctly, I ended up using a single exposure... it was a while ago! Lots of asian themed pictures, so I'll follow with one of my favorite elements from Chinese culture, accentuated by colors, which are in turn accentuated by reflections:
