Congratulations to last months competition winners and a big thank you to everyone who took part.

In first place with 11 votes was @Thommo with what appears to be the roof of a building but I could be wrong!
In second place with 7 votes was @etiennescamera with a close up shot of a yucca plant.
In third place with 6 votes was @Loke with a 132 kilovolt steel transmission line.

I'll be in touch with the first and second place winners soon to arrange the vouchers.

Theme
For this month the theme is motion. If you need a little inspiration then head over to our Motion Challenge Thread or take a look a Flickr.

What Do I Get if I Win?
1st Place - The first place winner will receive a $30 (US dollar) voucher for Amazon.
2nd Place - The second place winner will receive a $20 (US dollar) voucher for Amazon.
3rd Place - The joy of taking part.

There are no alternative prize or cash options, so if you are unable to accept an Amazon voucher I'm afraid you will miss out on the prize. Dense traffic in Venice. For me this picture is a zoetrope where you can see different moments of the gondola in motion.

Isle of Bute - Dunagoil. Last week I was at the coastline of this beautiful section on the Isle of Bute. I loved this section of an inlet with this amazing rocky formation with the incoming waves with a 2.5 second exposure to create the incoming motion of the sea.

A big thanks to everyone who entered and voted in this months competition.

1st place with 9 votes was @Pmarszal with his "Warp Speed" image shot at a very impressive 1/3 sec!
2nd place with 8 votes was @Tinopener with his shot of the waves crashing against some old timbers, maybe once part of a pier or walkway?
3rd place with 7 votes was @etiennescamera with his lovely shot of two dogs chasing each other along the beach.

I'll be in touch soon to arrange the prices for 1st and 2nd.
