Just moved back to Sony, (complicated story!!), after a couple of years.
Trying to get used to the menu system again, and am setting my new A1 Mk2 primarily for bird pics (have an a7CR for landscapes, etc), this is what I have done so far:
On the Mode dial I've set:
C1 for static birds with shutter at 1/1000, aperture f5.6, auto ISO, metering Multi, Bird target, Focus area Spot M, AF-C and Drive on M.
C2 for BIF with shutter at 1/4000, aperture f5.6, auto ISO, metering Centre, Bird target, Focus area Wide, AF-C and Drive on H.
Camera will be mainly be used on C1 mode so I've set the AF-On button to switch to C2 when held for quick use for BIF.
Lens I'm using is a 300mm f2,8 with 2x TC, for now.
Comments on this setup and suggestions welcome.
Also, how do I customise the C2 button to switch to APS-C? Useful occasionally for smaller birds in bushes!
Thanks in advance.
