I do love the texture of these flowers though I’m finding them difficult to photograph because I’m not sure where I should set the depth of field.

That's my worry when photographing flowers as fell haha. They can be quite tricky.

DOF looks good to me. Advice I got from a pro was to focus on the tip of a leaf or petal. I did it manage to nail that on many of my shots though.
