Two weeks ago I spent two brilliant days photographing Kingfishers on the River Tern near Market Drayton in Shropshire. The Kingfishers really are the most delightful little birds and to get so close to seeing and photographing them in their natural habitat was a real privilege and treat! I hope you enjoy the photographs as much as I did taking them! The photos were taken with a combination of the A9 and A7R IV with 100-400 GM and 400 f2.8 GM lenses. If you're a member of the Sony Alpha Wildlife Shooters Fb page you may have seen some images posted there so here's a couple of new previously unseen photos!
Sony A7R IV with 400mm f2.8 GM ~ f3.5 ~ 1/1600 sec ~ ISO 500
Sony A7R IV with 400mm f2.8 GM ~ f3.2 ~ 1/500 sec ~ ISO 400
Sony A9 with 100-400mm GM ~ 100mm ~ f6.3 ~ 1/2000 sec ~ ISO 6400 and shutter fired with Sony RMT-P1BT bluetooth remote
