Here are some moments from a recent Carnatic concert here in Chennai, India.

Carnatic music is the classical music of Southern India. I'm a music lover that started taking a camera into concerts a few years back, and it has become what I mostly point my camera at.

That post was, again, camera jpegs edited in GIMP. Not much editing: tone curve and colour temperature tweaks. The skin tones are a little warm and a little yellow: I did better for the next concert there.

Concert took place on December 11th. I've got a looong way to go before I can get back to more relaxed exploration of darktable and RAWs.

I never used to be able to get shots like this. If someone smiled at me, I'd go all silly and the pic would be shaky and useless. Even if I know that person to chat to off stage.

My confidence has increased. Or maybe I had a firmware upgrade that improved my operational stability . It is hugely helped by the a7iv's ability to simply get the shot.
