You absolutely must use tick repellent in the fields. I got this infection and antibiotics are not helping. It is a major struggle to keep from vomiting. Now I use Buzz-Away, but it’s a little too late.

Nothing new except the vets in my area are saying this is the worst year yet for deer ticks.

A real bummer - sorry about your illness. We have mule deer where I live in the Tucson Mountains, but I don't think we have this problem here in the desert? Does anyone know?
