Birds Mark Smith Osprey Book

Just received my Osprey book by Mark Smith - titled “The glorious pursuit of unbridled determination”. Wow, what a stunning set of photos beautifully presented. Worth a look for anyone who likes Ospreys or just bird photography. It’s not cheap ($60 + postage) but gives us something to aspire to.

I'll bet it is nice. I have an issue with the cost of these things though! I know he needs to make a living, so it's fair enough, but I wouldn't look at it much.

I know but I saw the Kickstarter appeal a few months ago - it was late at night after a couple (!) of glasses of red and I just thought, what the hell, I can't take it with me.
It also gave me an idea of what to do with my photos. Instead of just leaving them festering on my hard drive, I decided to make up a book (using the Whitewall website) of the photos I'd taken in 2021 (at least half of it as I only got my equipment in July). Unfortunately, my photos are not quite up to Mark's standard but at least I have room for improvement.
