Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays folks. I wish you all a cracking time this holiday season.

A big thanks to everyone who continues to contribute to this forum, no matter whether that's just the odd like now and again or daily posts. Every interaction is appreciated.

Frank appreciates you all too!

Merry Christmas all. It’s almost 9:00 am here. Already 27 degrees C. Have to start getting the BBQ ready for this turkey. Unfortunately I’ve made it hard this year by badly squashing one of my fingers yesterday.

Merry Christmas! I took photos at our Children's Christmas Pageant this afternoon and just finished getting them online.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
May Santa bring you the lenses and other gear you desire, and hopefully 2025 will bring more opportunities to use said gear

Happy Christmas to all you members out there.

It's been a blast here.

Started the day with a walk with our mutts.

Then off for our walk with cameras. A superb bluethroat came up really close, unfortunately there was so much heat haze coming up, not a chance of a sharp shot.

Then I have to confess to a chilled glass of rioja and a piece of cake.

We headed back and I whipped up some local "gambas blanco" sorry Alex, won't be the first time I've murdered somebody's mother tongue....

You may notice a couple of Christmas mutts sniffing round.

Then for the main course, potatoes sautéed in garlic, lots of garlic and rosemary.

A couple of rather fresh lobsters and asparagus (the current Mrs Unframed insists that I eat something green everyday) on the barbecue. Lobster with garlic butter of course, I find thermidor over powering.

It was at this point I realised that Papa Noël had neglected to drop off some lobster crackers and picks, never mind we managed.

Apparently I need to brush up on my presentation.

Hey-ho!

It was rather nice.

Enjoy the rest of the day.

Merry Christmas to all! Hope you have a great day of food, family and friends. It's a quiet one for us, just me, my wife and pup.

Cheers!
