A few recent moths from my trapping sessions in July. It was an absolutely abysmal month for moths in the UK, with numbers way way down on what is normal. Even the most experienced trappers were getting very ow numbers. The weather is entirely to blame. Thankfully I did get a few nice species. These are not super close up, ultra detailed shots because I shoot to record the species, but also, I do not pot and chill my moths in a fridge, like a lot of weirdos. Names on each photo.
