Somewhere in the mists of time and the bog of eBay, I picked up an old Focal 80-200mm f/3.5. A Kmart blue light special! Only recently have I let the α7ii play with it.
This 900-gram K-mount beast is a solid old-school lens. Features include internal zoom, 1:2.55! closeup at 200mm and a retractable shade. Takes 67mm filters, and came with a Hoya Skylight 1b attached.
At first glance vignette is a bit of an issue, colour fringing isn't bad though. It's a heavier lens than I tend to use, but for a fixed f/3.5, 200mm zoom its bulk is not a surprise.
Has any one seen its like, or have a favorite classic adapted lens to share?
