Hello everyone and thanks for letting me in. I've got an Alpha 6100 with 16-50 and 55-210 which I brought about a year ago, the guy in the store said the lenses were ideal starters. I'm very happy with my gear and looking to learning how to get the best from it although I am thinking about getting a stronger (see further ;) ) lens, not too good on full manual yet but all in good time. I'll be using my real name in March, so bye for now, Dave. P.

Welcome Dave. That's a good starting point, I originally started with the A6000 and 16-50. There are so many lens options out there, try not to fall into the trap I did! G.A.S. gear acquisition syndrome :ROFLMAO:

I started with the A6000 and 16-50pz + 55-210. Can't say that I have an images that I really still like with the 16-50 but 2 with the 55-210 are still among my favorites.

Thanks for that Chris, I got a W.W.T.M. wife watches the money, :ROFLMAO: so I'll save my pocket money.
Same boat here mate, my wife is quite literally my accountant
Take pictures of things she likes and then tell her how much nicer they might look if you had "x" lens. It worked for me, but only once or twice.
