Been a Sony shooter for a few years, currently with the A7R4, A7R2 and A6000. Mostly use non-Sony lenses. Kept my Canon gear from before I switched. I primarily do storm photography, but need to get out and do other subjects, as it is pretty quiet in the Denver, CO USA area once summer is over. Hope to learn from fellow Sony enthusiasts.

Welcome to the Forum. What part of the States do you hail from?

Thank you. I live in the Denver area.
Well, welcome again. Living where you live, you have lots of photographic possibilities.

Welcome!
I have some family in Denver, every few years I go hiking with them, but I haven't had a chance to take much photos out there since I got my Sony just before the pandemic. Hope to see some of your photos soon.

Welcome! I'd love to try capturing storms. Lord knows we have plenty of them here in middle Tennessee. Just don't know anything about it. Looking forward to seeing some captures from you!

Welcome Cathy and thank you for joining up here and introducing yourself. Storm photography must be pretty exciting and potentially very dangerous at the same time! Looking forward to seeing some of your shots!

Thank you. I confess to going out with storm chasing tours. That way I don't have to worry about my car getting destroyed. Have not caught much in the way of good tornadoes over the last few years, as the focus seems to be moving more into your part of the country.

Thank you. Storm chasing can be very addictive. It is dangerous to my bank account, as I pay to go on tours.

I can imagine. Going on a tour sounds slightly safer to me though! I think that would be my preference too!

You want to go out with a leader who knows what he is doing. I know quite a few people from the UK who come to the States for tours.

From a few years ago. The last really photogenic one I have seen.
