I've been thinking about your comment Ralph and I think you're being extremely harsh on yourself. In Europe we have something of an advantage, I have a mate in Melbourne and we talk most days. He tells me you don't have easy access to hides like we do. Most of the shots above are taken from them, which allow us to get very close to our "prey".

I'm constantly impressed with your bird shots and knowledge, don't sell yourself short.
