Picture profile photos

Hi, after posting my first thread and getting amazing responses I was wondering if you guys could help me out again! I have tried looking it up everywhere but I couldn't find an answer to this question! For filming I use a picture profile, should I also use a picture profile for photos?

I think the response you will often get is "Shoot in RAW"; and the reason is that using a picture profile puts stylistic changes on the image and saves them on the JPG of the image. Shooting in RAW ensures the most amount of detail is available on that image file so you can manipulate it as you see fit in the editing program of your choice.
