One big reason I purchased the 90mm macro lens is that I love to do tabletops, abstracts and such, and last winter my 90mm hardly ever left the camera as I used it for that sort of project nearly every day. Now with cold weather approaching again, I'm preparing for the time when I'll be doing more of this kind of shooting again. I like to use continuous light rather than on-board or off-camera flash or strobes, so have just purchased a Westcott Icy Light 2, a really cool LED wand. One of my first shots with it last night:
- ILCE-7RM4
- FE 90mm F2.8 Macro G OSS
- 90.0 mm
- ƒ/13
- 1/320 sec
- ISO 12800
