I found the problem. My raw file editor (darktable 4.8.1) does not save exif by default. It's an option that has to be set before exporting the image. It's not something I've ever used before.

I was just thinking... darktable... there's an option. But you found it before I could look.

I think this is a great way to set us all the theme to consider, no voucher should stop anyone as we are all here for the love of creating images to share.

Just thought I would make another suggestion for the monthly competition. I think it would be good if the winner each month (or even the top three) wrote a short piece about taking & post processing (if applicable) their image.

Thanks Richard. I think I'll try announcing the winners in a separate post this year instead of the competition thread. This will give the winners and other entrants an opportunity to comment further on their submission if they wish.
