I was lucky enough to get some closer shots of a Red Throated Diver on Saturday. This is either a juvenile or an adult returning to winter plumage, but either way, a lovely bird to see close up, and one that isn't that common, though the Norfolk Coast seems to have had a large influx this month.

All lovely shots Kev. I like the fourth shot the most with just the head visible. Now I'd like to request one with a fish in its mouth please :)

It looked a lot like a loon and I checked and found that it is. You call it a diver, we call it a loon. Love the laughing call and can they ever swim underwater. Nice series.

I like the one where its looking directly at you like, "OK mate, that's enough paparazzi shots for today"

Cheers guys. Tim. I'll try! Sandy, yes, exactly the same bird. Chris, it's a definite "what are you looking at!"

Nice set Kev saw quite a few myself this last week especially at Cley.
Yep. We went to Cley on Wednesday. Quite a few there, plus Gannets, Razorbills and Guillemot.
