Birds Salton Sea CA

Every winter I take a drive out to the southern end of the Salton Sea and look for burrowing owls (and other birds) I pushed it late this year and temps were already in mid 80s. I missed the departure of the snow geese by 3 days! Did see lots of sandhill cranes thought. A couple of my favorite owls below
