Hi all,
When using the monitor turned around and pushed into the camera to access the menu, I often go to using the EVF to film something, or check the changes I have made.
However, I have a big nose and it always touches the screen when I look through the EVF through my left eye.
This engages Subject Tracking based on where my nose touches the screen. So before filming I have to press the button in the middle of the circle dial to cancel Subject Tracking which is very very annoying...
Is there anyway to shut off the screen when you put something up to the EVF quick enough to stop the Subject Tracking being engaged by my huge nose please!
(BTW Sony, I +hate+ the monitor on the Sony A6700!
I much prefer the A6600 version that can fold up from the bottom a bit. At no point do I ever wish to have a screen that folds out to the side.
So I never using the screen when filming wildlife, always the EVF.
I'm ether handheld or on a video head attached firmly to my vehicle door. A sideways monitor can't be seen accurately in the bright sunshine, gets covered in dust and makes any movement very awkward and any many other reasons....!)
