A rare sighting of a serval in the Moremi reserve (according to the guides). This was really late in the day. (This seemed to happen a lot - the rarer animals appeared just as it was getting dark).

This serval was barely visible in the dusk but the camera makes a good job of it.
Lightroom, Photoshop and Topaz transformed it - still not the greatest image but definitely preferable. By far the hardest part was getting back 'acceptable' colours and NR software did a good job with the noise.

I was impressed by the software (and the A1)...

Impressive!

That's why I love the A7RIV, the dynamic range is amazing and lets you do stuff like this.

The forum software hasn't picked up the camera data but it was 1/80 f9 iso12800 (on the 200-600mm).
Looking at the dark 'before image' that is rather lighter than it was.
You could really only see the outline of the cat because increasing darkness. I should add that none of the cameras around me could autofocus on the animal in the available light.
