The ultra-wide zoom lens options have never been better for APSC shooters:
Originally it was only the Sony 10-18mm f4 (which is a good lens, and the ONLY option with OSS).
Then Tamron released the excellent 11-20mm f2.8 (a bit chunky)
Then Sony brought out the 10-20mm f4 (PZ) to replace their 10-18mm
Then Tokina brought out their version of the 10-18mm
Now Sigma has this compact 10-18mm f2.8? That's going to pair very well with their 18-50mm f2.8. Sigma is going to sell a TON of these new lenses!

I wish someone would build a 70-200 f2.8 for APSC, but that's probably a pipe dream...

Does seem weird. Even M-4/3 makes 35-100/2.8 for their mount. I'd suggest the venerable Maxxum 28-135/4-4.5, but by the time you add an adapter it's getting pretty long.
I have an 18-135 3.5-5.6, its a great travel lens, but when I trade in my a6400 that lens is going with it to help the trade-in value.
The Tamron 17-70 f2.8 does almost everything I need, but that leaves me with a void for any FL above 70mm.
I will likely buy the Sony APSC 70-350mm lens in the future and just rent a full frame 70-200 f2.8 when I need a wider aperture for a specific event.

Many reviewers are putting out their videos for the 10-18 now:

Haven't watched 'em yet. queuing them up now as I type this.
