Full-Frame Sigma 70mm f/2.8 DG Art Macro Lens Image Thread

In response to the thread on which macro lenses folks are using I pulled out my Sigma 70mm f/2.8 DG Art Macro lens and took some shots around the yard. I really haven't used it a lot since purchasing it used a year or so ago. I thought I would go ahead and start a thread of sample images. All of these were taken with a Sony a7RV.

This was my first shot with the lens when I got it just to test.

I use the Sony 90mm macro, so I investigated the differences between the two lenses and found this:-

Although they are similar in size and weight they are physically very different. The Sigma seems to be very noisy! It also has an extending body, unlike the Sony. Also, the Sony is much easier to switch between manual and autofocus. I will stick with my Sony.

I watched the video and I don't disagree. The AF is noisy compared to my other lenses. I looked at the Sony 90mm macro and had it not been almost twice the price of the Sigma and I don't shoot macro often so I decided to save some money.
