I thought it was about time I shared a few of my puffin images from my trip to Skokholm Island at the end of May / early June this year. This is the 2nd time we've visited Skokholm Island which is off the Pembrokeshire coast and it truly is the most magical place. The puffins are just the most adorable birds! I hope you enjoy! :)

Superb shots Mike! I've been to Skomer a few times but never to Skokholm, did you stay overnight?

Cheers for the really kind words Tim. You can only stay on Skokholm for either 3 / 4 or 7 nights depending on the time of the year you visit. It's not easy to book as the best times of the year to stay quickly get snapped up by members of the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales. The beauty of Skokholm however is that you get no day visitors and you are there during the best hours for photography which you never get as a day visitor to Skomer. It really is the most amazing place to stay!

Wonderful series. Every one a winner.
