EDITED: Some think this body attitude looks retarded. But actually only highly skilled jumpers will brave it. The shoulder straps of the harness are unbuckled and slid down to stomach where you balance in a near prone posture. You're balanced on one strap, and just before touchdown, the straps must be moved back their original position at the last second so as not to skin your chin up at impact. Not for the novice!

I'm not a Jumper but it looks like an activity that the KISS principle should apply.
