Finally got around to going to the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum in Philadelphia and it is fantastic. This is a museum dedicated to sports car racing meaning cars that are designed for the road that go racing, though sometimes auto makers stretch that. This collection is not just a collection that sits as they do demo days in which they take these out for runs around the lot. I have no idea how much this collection is worth as there are a good number of these that are the last or one of the last remaining of their type. (Official Website https://simeonemuseum.org/)
1912 Hudson Mile-A-Minute Roadster - 30 gallon tank for gas and a 10 gallon tank for oil (!!!) so fill ups would be pricey but oil changes unreal.
1933 Squire Roadster - This is a car Jay Leno has considered murdering for. This car also has a really cool gear shift, you turn the gear selector (just left of the steering wheel) to what gear you want and then after you push in and release the clutch the car would then shift into that gear.
1966 Bizzarrini P538 - A one of one and an interesting Pros/Cons list
1958 Ferrari Testa Rossa - Just gorgeous
1958 Aston Martin DBR1 - Nice winning driver lineup
Lotus Espirit V8 - A personal favorite from youth. This is also a 1 of a kind as it is the only Lotus PPG Pace Car and served that role for 2 years, it is not street legal due to the factory not titling it. This is actually a visiting car from another club for a British Sports Car event taking place over the next several weeks. This car is actually still used on a regular basis for pace car duties.
