Like you this is an area I need work on but far more than you do going by what you have posted here.
All I know is get a fast shutter going and this is a good part of the job and this has taken me a while to get to grips with.
But I feel the camera and lens combination I have is a hit and miss thing plus we have had horrible sky's here to get this right as well.
So what you have done is where I would like to be but I am not so great job on learning this.
