I've picked up other gear that would give AF with the EA5 adapter, so this lens that can AF nicely with the EA3 (perhaps a touch slowly) can go. It's a combo often used by folks on their way up the ladder to highest-quality telezooms, I read of it on several sites. I got a deal on used stuff via eBay and mpb, so selling this off pay for a used EA5 if I catch a deal.
Lens is in EX+ condition by my reasoning, has caps and hood but no box. I also picked up a tripod mount (covers the AF window) that will be included. A bit of a beast (800g± with EA3's weight) but nice and quiet, and very good IQ. (img-rsrc review)
The EA3 is all one needs for SAM/SSM and Tamron focus drives, but I'd prefer to go with lighter Maxxum classic telezooms.
Asking $200 for the combination.
Free USA shipping - we'll split the cost elsewhere after PM negotiation.
I've done waaaaaaay too many deals on eBay (jr-carfala) and PentaxForums (jimr-pdx)..
