Nice find. The few people I have spoken to who live in armadillo country say they typically see them as roadkill but rarely (if ever) see live ones. I have seen an armadillo in the wild once. It was at dusk when I stayed in the tent safari camp at Fossil Rim Wildlife Ranch.
