Hi, Merry Christmas or whatever you celebrate.
I started out with my a6000 back in 2014-15. I just bought the body and then an adaptor and started doing manual photography using all my old Minolta lens I used with my film camera, Minotla X-700 from back in the day.
Around mid 2021-22 I wanted to go full frame and bought a Sony A7C. I have used my old Minolta glass on the A7C, but I wanted to move to and experiment with AF and Tracking so I have invested in a couple of Tamron zooms.
Before buying my A7C I was always waiting for an a7000 to come to market.
The feel of the A7C in the field is exactly the same as my a6000, little heavier. The battery life on the A7C puts my a6000 bates to shame.
I'm on a steep learning curve with auto focus and tracking but can see the potential.
Anyway, probably not an original idea, just putting it out there.
Cheers offshore
