An early fall shot from a few weeks ago. This is a logging road off a main highway. The land is being cleared because someone has a great idea, apparently. I actually drove by this spot quite a few times and spotted it out of the corner of my eye as I went past. I said to myself "one of these days I'm goin to stop and grab a pic". Well, this particular morning the stars aligned, the light seemed right and a light fog put the finishing touch on it. Although it is only a utilitarian path alongside clearcutting it did seem to yield a rough beauty that seems to work. What do you think?
