I finally had a chance that allowed me some time to play with this lens. This is the m42 version attached to a m42 to m-mount adapter that is then attached to the TechArt M to E AF adapter. Yes, AF is possible but the lens does have a long focus throw so I have to manually focus to a point that the AF can take over. What people are saying about this lens on YT is similar to what I have experienced (the m-mount version has bad vignette and very loose focus ring, not a problem with the m42 version). My adapter does not have a setting for 100mm so I had to use 90mm which is what you will see in the EXIF data. Focus point is on the nearest leaf.
