Turning of the camera's monitor

Over the last month and a little bit I have noticed that I am not even looking at the monitor after shots.
A while back I read that a camera came out without one. I thought big mistake.
But now not so. I have not missed it at all. Life for me will continue without using the monitor.

there is a setting for how long the monitor displays the last shot. I’ve set it to zero, and I press the button if I want to look at the shots. I guess I have a lot more confidence in the camera these days.

I have seen that and even thought about it.
But with the battery use on the A7ii anything that can help to give more life then the better I think.
But this wasn't the reason to why as it was I was not using it as I like the surprise at home.
Plus I can see the shot in the view finder if I really want to.
