Hi All:
For those who have upgraded from a A7IV to A7RV have you been pleased with the transition? Any particular pros & con?
Thanks for the feedback

I am interested in what replies you get as I would like to get that or the the one previous to it.

I just upgraded form A7IV to A7RV, I was a little worried by the larger file size but my macbook pro seem to just rip through them, I generaly like to crop my images, and it just give more leeway, I know the focus is suppose to be better, but it doesn't feel any different than the A7IV. Anyways I'm extreamly happpy with it.

PROs
Better EVF
Better rear screen
Better IBIS, I hand hold alot
Resolution big plus for me

Cons
larger file size, needs bigger memory cards + more storage on computer.

Thank you. Any thoughts on noise levels?

If you mean mechanical shutter, it's quieter, to me it was noticeible. if you mean video, I don't really shoot video.
No sorry, image noise overall ISO performance. I seen comments that down sampling or using medium compression can reduce the apparent noise in low light conditions or in astro to reduce the star trails

I only upgraded a few days ago, so all my shooting has been in full sun shooting Kite Surfers.

I have an A7RV. I haven't found noise to be a problem but I haven't really shot at high ISO yet. I don't consider noise to really be a problem these days anyway with the brilliant de-noise software that is available.
