I thought I would share some pictures taken on my vacation last week, all taken with the a6400 and Tamron 17-70 (except the first picture where I used the Sony 10-18). Some pictures may be re-posts if you've seen them in other threads, but all were taken during the same trip.

Very nice.

Good collection. One of those shots would have benefited by an increased DOF.

Yes indeed, that last Hibiscus photo should have been taken at f4 or higher; the stigma protrudes so far from the petals that its always a good idea to stop down when photographing Hibiscuses. ;)

Some beautiful shots there Chris, it really is a fantastic lens. Only wish I had somewhere like that to use mine!

Thanks man! Its a great lens, but I'm coming to realize its a bit heavy/bulky for your typical travel lens. I think the Sony 18-135 is actually better suited to a vacation lens, especially if you're taking the majority of photos during the day. I've been traveling with the 17-70 & 10-18 in my kit bag, but I may go back to carrying the 10-18, 18-135, and 35 (f1.8) instead... we'll see.

Can I go on vacation also. Nice pics. Where was that?

Haha Cheers Randy! This was at Jamaica Inn located in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

Great photos! I just got back from vacation as well. I went to West Virginia and Hiked my butt off!!!

Lovely photos Chris. Looks like a fantastic place for a vacation!

Ocho Rios? I was there in 1965, just 5 yo at the time. My father took some silent 8 mm films there, which I still have. Years later, I became a scuba diver, but I heard that Jamaica's coral reefs were mostly devoid of fish.

As to your photos, they're beautiful! Actually, some of them are great!!

I bought Sony’s 18-135 mm lens in October 2018, just in time to take with me to Game 1 of the World Series [baseball] at Fenway Park in Boston.
