There was a Blessing of the Animals at our church this past Sunday afternoon and enjoyed shooting it. I really love the Samyang 35-150mm for things like this. Here are some of the photos.

Our kitten that my wife found outside the church a few weeks ago pretty much right where this photo was taken.

That Samyang looks like it's doing pretty well. I just watched a video yesterday that did a head to head comparison with the Tamron, there isn't a whole lot of difference from what I see. Very tempting.

The beagle in the third shot needs to lose some serious weight. The best blessing it could get would be a diet!
I have been pleased with the Samyang. Last night I had a Cheerleading competition to shoot and used it for that to give me both a wide option to get the full, or almost full, team and a good zoom to capture individuals. I also used it this summer on a trip to Germany and it was nice to have such a wide range of reach in a single lens that I could use inside as well due to the fast f/2-2.8 aperture. And yes, beagles seem to be prone to excessive weight.
