When I shoot stills I often prefocus where I predict the bird will show up for faster focus. When I switch over to video-mode the camera auto-focus on its own. When I need to rest my arms using the 200-600mm the camera still autofocus on the grown etc. And when I lift up the camera the focus need some time to find the object/bird again.. Is there a way to manualy control the focus like prefocus on a subject 20-30 meters away and keep it there when I lower my camera to rest my arms? I did a video of a duck in 120fps and then slowed it down 4 times in windows moviemaker and it looks great!
