Birds Visit at my local wetland

I live very close to a nature reserve, which basically is just a large forest, but also has a wetland since a few years. It's not the most populated wetland but it's a beautiful spot and it has some birds in it. For example, just recently a couple of Horned Grebe's came to visit. We'll see if more arrive and how long they'll stay. Anyway, spent a few hours there today and snapped some shots.

All species we see here in the UK except for the lovely Grebes. Nice selection of shots.

Thank you! Yeah, cool bird that. I'm so new to birding so I haven't had the chance to see the Horned Grebes until a couple of days ago for the first time.

I wish our wetlands were as alive as this one. The waterbird population has dropped by a lot in recent times.
But we have had a lot of rain and this gives them more area's to be in and out wetlands have suffered because of this.
So it is good to see one as healthy as the one you are at Kristoffer.
