Is it a good idea to purchase a used second-hand Sony Sonnar T* FE 55mm f/1,8 ZA lens that, according to the packaging, was manufactured in 2016-02? I have tested the lens, and it performs well, but I’m curious about its remaining lifespan?

People are still using 20 year old Canon and Nikon AF lenses and there is nothing to suggest that the Sony lenses are built to a lower quality than those. I bought a used 100-400GM, I don't know what its life was like before I got it but since I got it, it has gone through a lot and is still performing great.

That has a reputation of being a great lens. If it has been looked after there should be no problems with it lasting a long time.
