OK, off to Madagascar - lots of walking, rough terrain, lemurs, birds, macro etc etc.. a wildlife extravaganza

I'm leaving the 600mm f4 behind - still have nervousness about this after the disaster earlier this year - see prev thread. Plus, luggage limitations on internal flights.

But I'm taking two 'systems'. Two FF bodies A1 and A7R5. Two lens 200-600mm f5.6-6.3 (many birds will be 'far away and small'*) and 70-200mm f2.8 (many lemurs will be 'close and large'*).

How would you pair these up? I'll be able to have both systems with me, most of the time.

A1 or A7R5 with the 200-600
A7R5 or A1 with the other

What 'conditions; your decision?

Thanks.

p.s Yes, I know how fortunate I am.

Tough one, I own both lenses but only one body so it would come down to weight and packing so I'd take the A1 and 70-200.

A1 with the 200 - 600, the higher frame rate being the deciding factor for fast moving birds.

A7R5 with the other. Or buy another A1.

24 - 70 f2.8 as well. Doesn't take that much room and can fit in a large pocket.

Bag of lindt chocs for the ride.
