Which lense??

I’m somewhat new to my a7R iv and am currently shooting with a 24mm f1.4GM, what I really need in a lense is some nice close up shots so I had the 90mm 2.8 macro in mind. I would like a lense that also does decent with normal shots. Does any one run the 90mm macro?? How does it preform when not magnified??

(first a small tip: on some camera sites you'll get flamed for saying "lense". It's "lens" if you have one and "lenses" when you have more than one)

The Sony 90mm f/2.8 G is a good lens. It works well for macro, and it's fine at regular shots, too. It has an interesting feature I've only seen on one other Sony: you can switch between auto-focus and manual focus by pushing/pulling the focus ring - that is useful when shooting macro.
