XAVC S codecs and playback

[FlapGlide]

I started playing with my A7iv video capabilities and noticed a playback issue, XAVC S HD 4:2:0 8-bit plays back fine on my computer and phone etc. But once you go up to 4:2:2 10-bit my PC can't play it. I can't get the XAVC S 4K to playback too. Does anyone know of any resources online explaining all this? Thanks in advance.

I got this to install and work. Comes from Sony...it has two parts. The Browse program and Prepare program. The Prepare program had a cost so I didn't keep it/register it. The Browse program seems to be free. Can open all formats of video and even render output. Made my wife's laptop run hot when I down-sampled a 4K to 1080p. Does the trick but could be a trial version...didn't seem to say that though. Opened all the formats off my A7iv but pushed my laptop hard
