Tamron has become one of the most popular third-party lens manufacturers for Sony E-mount over the past couple of years.
They seem to have hit a home run by creating lenses that are sharp enough for most shooters and also light in weight and small in size, so that they pair very well with Sony’s Alpha line-up of mirrorless cameras.
They are also typically a lot more affordable than Sony’s native E-mount lenses, with some lenses costing half of what the equivalent Sony lens costs.
Here’s a current list of Tamron’s E-mount lenses together with the latest firmware versions.
