Sigma has announced another new lens for Sony E-mount and this time it’s the Sigma 85mm F1.4 DG DN Art lens.
The lens weighs in at 625g / 22.0oz and features 15 elements, including one aspherical and five SLD (special low dispersion), it’s also weather sealed.
It has 11 rounded aperture blades and the focus is driven by a high-speed stepping motor.
The minimum focus distance is 0.85m (34″) and the maximum magnification is 0.12x.
The lens features an aperture ring that has a click switch that allows users to choose between a clicky and smooth rotation, there’s also a lock switch.

Along with the Sony E-mount version there is also a version for the Panasonic/Leica/Sigma L-mount.
The 85mm F1.4 DG DN Art is already available to pre-order for $1,199.00 / £999.00 and should start shipping later this month.
