Sony has launched a new “Monitor & Control” mobile app for visual creators.

Sony Monitor & Control App

This free application is a new addition to Creators’ Cloud. At present the app is supported with the following Sony cameras only:

  • FX6 (Ver. 3.00 or later)
  • FX3 (Ver. 4.00 or later)
  • FX30 (Ver. 3.00 or later)

BURANO will also be compatible in the future. It will also be compatible with the Sony A1 and A7S III, from March 2024. Sony says that the number of compatible cameras will be expanded gradually.

The app supports wireless image monitoring, support for highly accurate exposure determination using false color and waveform monitors, and intuitive focus operations.
