Reliable camera leaker Nokishita has leaked the details and images of two upcoming lenses from Tamron.
Tamron 150-500mm F / 5-6.7 Di III VC VXD
The Tamron 150-500mm F / 5-6.7 Di III VC VXD will be Tamron’s first Sony full-frame E-Mount lens equipped with VC (Vibration Compensation).
The lens is constructed of 25 elements in 16 groups and there are 7 circular aperture blades. The minimum focussing distance is 0.6m / 23.6″ at the wide end and 1.8m / 70.9″ at the tele end.
There’s a variable aperture of F5-6.7, a filter size of 82mm and it weights 1725g / 60.8oz without the tripod mount which itself weighs 155g / 5.5oz.

This lens certainly has the potential to eat into the sales of Sony’s superb FE 200-600 lens, that’s providing Tamron gives it a sensible price tag.
Tamron 11-20mm F/2.8 Di III-A RXD
The Tamron 11-20mm F/2.8 Di III-A RXD has been designed for Sony’s APS-C cameras and is the widest F2.8 lens built so far for the E-Mount system.
The lens is constructed of 12 elements in 10 groups, with 7 circular aperture blades. The minimum focussing distance is 0.15m / 5.9″ at the wide end and 0.24m / 9.4″ at the tele end.
The filter size is 67mm and it weighs 335g / 11.9oz. The length is 86.2mm / 3.4″.
