Viltrox Announces 33mm F1.4 and 56mm F1.4 APS-C Lenses for Sony APS-C

Viltrox has announced two new APS-C lenses for Sony E-mount, a 33mm F1.4 and a 56mm F1.4.

Viltrox 33mm F1.4

The 33mm F1.4 features an all-metal build and is constructed of 10 elements in 9 groups, including one extra-low dispersion element and one high refractive index element.

The lens features an aperture control ring that lets you control the aperture manually or automatically.

The minimum focusing distance is 40cm (15.75″), there’s a built-in micro USB port for updating the firmware and an onboard stepping motor (STM) that drives the autofocus.

The lens is 72mm long, 65mm in diameter and weighs in at 270g (9.5oz).

Viltrox 56mm F1.4

The 56mm F1.4 features the same all-metal construction and 10 elements in 9 groups, including an extra-low dispersion element and a high fraction index lens.

The lens also features the same aperture control ring, built-in micro USB port, and STM motor.

The minimum focusing distance is 60cm (23.62″) and the lens measures 72mm long, 65mm diameter and weighs in at 290g (10.2oz).
