Voigtlander has announced three new lenses for Sony E-mount starting with a brand new 35mm F1.2 SE lens, followed by new SE versions of their existing 40mm F1.2 and 50mm F1.2 lenses.
Voigtlander has named this series of lenses “SE” (Still Edition), which emphasises their use for still photography. These SE lenses are smaller and lighter and don’t feature the de-click mechanism for movies, this has been reflected with a lower price.
All three lenses include electronic contacts for accurate EXIF data and focus magnify is also supported when you twist the focus rings.
